Liberty X star lands panto role
Singer Michelle Scott-Lee has proved there is life after pop stardom - and it lies on the stage.
She's landed herself a juicy role in the pantomime Cinderella, and is starring opposite one of the entertainment biz's biggest names.
Hollywood legend Mickey Rooney has also signed up to perform in the fairytale at the Sunderland Empire theatre, but the veteran actor could have an ulterior motive for popping over to the UK.
He's mad keen for a role in John Nettles' drama Midsomer Murders. The veteran star told Sky Showbiz: "I love watching it, it's really so well done." Maybe if he puts a good word in for his co-star Michelle, she could appear in the gentle crime drama too?
